New details emerge on the identity of the young driver escaped unhurt from the incredible crash on Highway 17 February dei Fiori, near Spotorno (Savona). This is the 29 year-old Steffen Korbach, German resident in the principality of Monaco and Swiss license (for which he was suspended for three months).
The boy is known for being the main investor of the reborn company Gemballa tuning. Last August Korbach appeared safe and smiling at the press conference introducing the new company Gemballa GmbH, created with funds provided largely by himself (we are talking of several million euro). E 'instead, understandably, more experienced in the images just after the accident, but still in good condition and without any physical harm.
The objective of the company's legacy is Korbach Uwe Gemballa, processor supercar mysteriously disappeared a year ago and found dead in October in South Africa. For nearly three decades, the eclectic Gemballa has proposed striking original features and certainly the most famous sporting movement, particularly Ferrari and Porsche.
Traditionalists hated by fans, had recently made headlines with the Gemballa MIG U1 model inspired by the same name and Russian military aircraft derived from the Enzo Ferrari (which the customer must provide a copy as a basis for processing). In the early months of new management's efforts funded by Steffen Korbach focused exclusively on the Porsche range, offering more elaborate like the Gemballa Tornado (based on Cayenne series 957 and 958) and Gemballa Mistral (based Panamera).
The tuner also offers the exaggerated Mirage GT, derived from the super exclusive Porsche Carrera GT and the Avalanche, set up at the most affordable Porsche 911 series 997. If the supercars have always occupied an important place in the world of Korbach, in this story's really a supercar saved my life.
In fact today the German could hardly tell what happened if there had been to protect the (expensive) carbon fiber shell of his Pagani Zonda. It therefore seems that his passion for cars is definitely paid ...
