The Audi A3 concept in Geneva

New generation of the Audi A3 has been discussed for a long time 'but the wait to see it on the road is still long. The release schedule has been set for 2012, but next week we already have a taste thanks to the concept that the Ingolstadt present in Geneva. As per tradition Audi, the concept has the same model name that will go into production and most likely forms will not be changing much.

Just remember what was seen with A1 and A7 concept. You immediately notice the new shape of the headlamps, plus "cut" and thin with the single-frame grille with hexagonal design. Looking at the sketch side comes the biggest surprise: the Audi A3 Concept in 3 volumes, 2 volumes and a half or better.

A change of direction for the average of four rings? Not exactly, the future Audi A3 it will certainly be marketed in Europe with the classic body 2 volumes, while volumes 2 and a half should be devoted to eastern markets. The measures vary significantly from the current model: 4.44 meters long, 1.84 wide and 1.39 high.

The Audi A3 Concept in Geneva under the hood will have a 5-cylinder turbo petrol 408 hp, whose power is transmitted to all four wheels and a dual clutch S-Tronic 7-speed.
