Australia: auto wind along 400 km

The two manufacturers could not choose a better place to run their cars: South Australia, where the winds coming from Antarctica blowing 365 days a year, allowing the vehicle built by German researchers, and Dirk Gion Stefan Simmerer of run their Wind Explorer, powered exclusively by the force of Aeolus.

The two designers, manufacturers have now created a much lighter, slightly above 200 kg, therefore able to absorb very little energy to move. This energy is used in two ways: through a wind turbine that accumulates in modern lithium ion battery and sails through adjustable lightweight bamboo poles supported by 6 feet long, like a boat with 4 wheels that move the half, accumulating while the energy use of force to stop the air.

Manufacturers have estimated that the energy harvested by the turbine allows a range of up to 400 km. And with this vehicle, the two Germans have traveled to the land of kangaroos showing how far can technology costs practically close to zero. The medium, however, is only a prototype and may not be used in traffic given the considerable size.
