Chrysler 200: 9 million for the commercial in the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl, or the event surrounding the final game that awards the title of champion of the NFL (the best American football), is the most important media event of the United States. An important stage, able to attract an audience on television screens of 100 million viewers, concerned not only for enterprises of the two teams in the field (for the record, have won the Green Bay Packers, who have thrived for 31 to 25 over Pittsburgh Steelers), but also and above all the "boundary" that is going around, from the choreography to the presence of VIP guests, among whom was present for the 45th edition of the American president Barack Obama.

An event very attractive and disputed by advertisers who take advantage of the huge interest generated in an ideal showcase to present (and expensive) its novelty. And so did Chrysler, the American group now increasingly in orbit that Fiat has chosen the Super Bowl to the general public to present its new Chrysler 200, the sedan from which it will relaunch the manufacturer of Detroit born and from which the Lancia Flavia.

During the interval Chrysler has aired a spot of good character for 2 minutes with the rapper Eminem, and of course, a Chrysler 200, which is displayed when running for Detroit, while a voiceover tells the city and its values. Eminem in the video until the end and is driving the car, which emphasizes a strong tie with Detroit, home to Chrysler and the city where the rapper grew up.

A commercial record, according to some rumors that it would cost $ 9 million and that brings up the little thing "only" € 2 million a couple of years ago to promote the Audi A6 invested in a one-minute video. In short, it appears that Sergio Marchionne and his men across the Atlantic have not spared no expense to boost the image of Chrysler, which needs more than ever to get closer to the general public to complete that work of consolidation that the Italo-Canadian manager has launched its entry into the group after the rescue by Fiat.
