Daytime running lights mandatory in Europe

The news was made official Tuesday February 7, 2011, the European Union has established that the new car that will be sold in the countries of the Community must by law have the daytime running lights with self-igniting the engine has started (a bit ' as for the bikes). This is to increase the visibility of vehicles and therefore the rate of road safety, to ensure that vehicles are always visible in all lighting conditions, further reducing fuel consumption thanks to LED systems, optical systems for manufacturers is a must have time, using the lighting device as a very functional design and aesthetic impact of cars.

This measure in the legislation of mandatory daytime running lights, will be extended to buses and heavy vehicles newly registered since August 2012, will also be banned from the various aftermarket applications (the tuning on lights) will be sanctioned and those who will mount lighting systems are not original, since cars of new generation capacity will provide greater light to current.
