Enel: the Electric Car? He has little hope

"The zero-emission cars have little chance to spread." To say this is not an ordinary person but the project manager electrical mobility of Enel, which provides that in 2020 only 5% of new car registrations cover of this type. This means that the fleet will be even lower percentage. If so, it would be a blow to much of the automotive industry that has begun to invest large sums to develop this technology alternative to the combustion engine.

"Enel - the manager said to an audience of industry - believes that electric cars will not alone solve all the problems of traffic and pollution, even if it represents an important signal. So we started a pilot project in three Italian cities (Milan, Pisa and Rome) called e-mobility Italy, promoted by Enel and Smart and face the trial of zero-emission mobility.

In the streets of the Tuscan city we already have 36 charging stations and a dozen Smart circulating (which will rise soon to 25) to understand the critical nature of these types of vehicles with a view to a possible launch on a large scale. "
