Eurotax Schwacke Ford Focus is an excellent residual value

The market observers Eurotax Schwacke has identified for the new Ford Focus an above-average residual value forecast. The Focus, in Germany on 9 April comes first as a five-door hatchback to the market, achieved the same results in several evaluation criteria that are often substantially above the competitive average.

The new Ford Focus with the 1.6-liter TDCi diesel engine (85 kW/115 hp) in a residual value forecast of 58 percent or 12 percentage points higher than the comparative model of the still current Focus generation (dealer sales value, each based on a mileage of 60,000 kilometers and a useful life of 36 months).

Positive in determining the residual value of the Focus is the effect of including the exterior design of the new model. The Eurotax Schwacke experts convinced that not the modern "Kinetic Design" of the new Ford was attributable to the space available. Other strengths are the perceived quality, functionality, the high level of safety as well as the variety of driver assistance systems, the electronic lane-keeping assistant that automatically returns with limited steering control of the electric power steering in the right lane, a parking assistants, to a " Active City Stop-called system that helps prevent rear-end collisions in urban traffic.

Had a particularly positive view of the Eurotax Schwacke experts here that many of these driver-assistance systems are first order in the compact class.
