Fiat Freemont: first images of cockpit and instrument panel

Pending the official presentation already scheduled during the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March), Fiat has released new shots of Freemont, impressive SUV / crossover built on a Dodge Journey. These pictures show the bridge and some glimpses of the car - including a large 1461 liters of luggage - and stress once more the total conformity between the two cars.

The cockpit in fact differ only in some details and finishing materials for the use of inquiry, including the chrome strip that runs across the two side jets. The European version differs in different settings and steering wheel alignment. 4.89 meters long, 1.88 wide and 1.72 high, with a wheelbase of 2.89 meters, Fremont has an interior configured to accommodate seven passengers in three rows of seats fold up to create a flat cargo space and no stairs.

At launch the only versions will be available with front-wheel drive and diesel 2.0 Multijet 140 and 170 hp with manual transmission. Following will be introduced all-wheel drive, automatic transmissions and the 3.0 V6 petrol engine with 276 hp Pentastar. The debut on the Italian and European markets is expected in the summer.
