A little over two years (28 months to be exact) since the start of production of this new generation of Fiesta, ie in October of 2008, Ford, with a kind of nomen omen, is celebrating her baby and this important milestone.

During the past two years, Ford Fiesta has captured a slice of the car market in the compact segment, becoming the best-selling car in Europe in its category, the best-selling car ever from the United States manufacturer with 1140. 000 units produced globally. These numbers do understand immediately what this Ford Fiesta has been really appreciated, that appreciation is part of the history of the car, since its first edition, launched in 1976 and produced 14 million units since then.

Ford Fiesta is now assembled on the European continent, at three plants, namely: Cologne, Germany and Valencia, while outside the old continent is also produced in the other three works, namely, Nanjing, China, Rayong, Thailand and Cuautitlàn, Mexico, later to be marketed globally in over 100 markets.

Ford Fiesta was the best-selling car in 2010 in England and Greece.
