Ford Focus RS: the hypothesis diesel

The new Ford Focus RS could offer petrol and diesel. These advances collected from UK. Autoblog in an interview with Sales Manager John Wellsman UK market, according to which a diesel version of the RS could make it even more interesting than the car, reducing operating costs (criticized by many members of the outgoing model), while maintaining the look and adequate performance to an "RS".

Looking at the current Ford range, the first thought should be the 2.2-liter TDCi 200 hp, with perhaps an additional powerstep, yet far from more than 300 hp that the next RS should be able to express thanks to the hypothesis of a hybrid system as purely performance. For now it is just a hypothesis, since the RS is still a draft and away the most "peaceful" Focus ST has been unveiled as a concept only, pending the production model, expected in 2012 and equipped with 2-liter 4-cylinder 240-hp EcoBoost.

The Focus RS as soon as production output, RS500 with his sister, he got excellent results in sales, with reservations of the latter far outweigh the available examples.
