Geneva 2011: Dodge Journey From the will of the Fiat Freemont

A friend from America as the Fiat at the Geneva Motor Show (1st-13.03.2011). Behind the Van Freemont, brings to the Italian brand in the second half of 2011 on the market, puts the Dodge Journey. The better-equipped model variant also features 17-inch alloy wheels, an even higher-quality audio system with a larger screen (diameter 8.4 inches) and drives for DVDs and SD memory card, a Bluetooth hands-free system, rear parking sensors, electric folding exterior mirrors, automatic driving lights , tinted rear windows and roof rails.

It is powered by the 2.0-liter Multijet turbo diesel from Fiat. He is offered for the Freemont in the performance levels 103 kW / 140 PS and 120 kW / 170 PS. He is always combined with a manual transmission and transmits power to the front wheels. The Fremont has an improved suspension and a revised steering optimize both measures handling and steering precision.

Additional sound insulation of the body also increases the comfort for the occupants even more. Safety features include seven airbags as standard, a Hill-Start Assist and Electronic Roll Mitigation, the so-called (ERM), which opposes a possible rollover through targeted interventions in motor control and braking.
