At the Geneva Motor Show (3 to 13 March 2011) Maserati sets the four-seater convertible to the world premiere of Gran now a "sport" version. The Maserati Gran Sport Convertible with the 4.7-liter V8 engine was developed as a particularly sporty top model next to the Gran Turismo S and Quattroporte Sport GT S.
To get the most out of the eight-cylinder engine, the ZF automatic transmission with a particularly fast MC-Shift software of the Quattroporte Sport GT S with faster switching change was combined. The naturally aspirated engine provides 331 kW / 450 hp and a maximum torque of 510 Newton meters.
The top speed is 285 km / h. His performance brings more of the rear-wheel drive north Italians by a firmer suspension setup on the road. The fuel consumption was reduced by six percent. Externally, the works Gran Sport Convertible powerful. The Maserati achieved with a black grille.
