Geneva 2011: Opel Zafira and shown Ampera Tourer Concept

Opel is at the Geneva Motor Show, 1st - 03.13.2011) show the final production version of the Ampera. The electric car with extended range comes before the end of the market. Opel presents his new Ecoflex at Geneva palette. The Corsa 1.3 CDTI Ecoflex combines the powerful 70 kW / 95 hp motor now with start / stop technology. It needs only 3.5 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers (EU standard) and emits just 94 grams CO2 per kilometer once. The new Astra 1.3 CDTI Ecoflex (70kW/95 hp) with Start / Stop uses 3.9 liters per 100 kilometers.

The CO2 emissions of the five-door model is therefore about 104 g / km. During the five-door hatchback version available with Start / Stop is available to the Astra 1.3 CDTI Ecoflex, Sports Tourer standard with this technology (4.1 liters fuel consumption per 100 kilometers, 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer).

With accented exterior design, new engine, retuned suspension and a revised interior, the Antara is also presented for model year 2011. The renewed drive range consists of two 2.2 CDTI diesel engines with 120 kW / 163 PS and 135 kW / 184 PS and a new 2.4 petrol versions with a capacity of 123 kW / 167 PS.

The two available transmissions, a manual and an automatic version with six courses were also developed. The innovations in chassis and active safety include a performance enhanced ABS system and the standard Hill-start Assist.
