Geneva Motor Show 2011: Gumpert back by Touring

At the Geneva Motor Show 2011 will see the Gumpert Tornante by Touring, a German supercar with 700 horsepower. The Gumpert Tornante begin its production phase in 2012 and said in a statement that "the Tornante open a new market segment, that of Fast Tourer, with characteristics very quickly and efficiently than normal coaches." Gumpert Tornante by the Touring has gullwing doors and access to the engine compartment with two trunks that cover the rear wheels.

The engine is central, the body made of composite mesh fixed on the central steel monocoque with carbon fiber. Under the hood of Gumpert Tornante find a twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8 with 700 horsepower, but according to rumors, there could be even more power upgrade. The transmission is a TT40e with paddles on the steering wheel while the suspension is double wishbone.
