Geneva Motor Show 2011: Renault Kangoo Express Maxi ZE

Renault lead the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show 2011, the Kangoo Express Maxi ZE electric version of the famous French house of the van. This new version of the Kangoo is built on a longer wheelbase variant (40cm more than the standard Kangoo), for a total length of 4.60 meters. The new Renault Kangoo Express ZE Maxi will be available in two variants: a 2 or 5 people (combined version).

The two-seater version is dedicated to freight, with a load compartment volume from 4.6 cubic meters (1.1 more than the Kangoo Standard) with a length of the rear compartment equal to 2.90 meters, while the height is 1.82 meters. While the 5-seater version of Kangoo ZE Maxi Express, is designed to carry passengers, with a rear bench capable of carrying up to five individuals in four combinations.

Bench that can slide under the platform, thereby increasing the available space of approximately 3.4 cubic meters. To move the Kangoo Express Maxi ZE thinks an electric motor capable of delivering 60 hp and 226 Nm of torque, with lithium ion batteries by 22 kWh, placed under the floor, rechargeable via a plug installed in the front , for a period of 6 to 8 hours, using standard electrical outlet, battery that allows the Kangoo Express Maxi ZE autonomy of 170 km.
