The forthcoming Geneva Motor Show, will present a prototype all-electric FDI in the Abarth brand, the Scorp-Ion. The concept, designed by the students of Master of Arts in Transportation Design was founded with the active collaboration of the house and the contributions of Pirelli and OZ. The car, 401 cm long, 190 wide and 119 high, with a wheelbase of 235 cm, according to the IED summarizes two of the main features of the cars produced by Abarth: sporty and compact size.
Treated items but this time with a very extreme approach. The Scorp-Ion is a two-seater powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel powered by lithium-ion battery. The battery pack is stowed under the cargo space behind the seats: its location and the particular location of the propulsion units have enabled a vehicle with a very low center of gravity.
The Scorp-Ion is the result of the work of seven students of the master, held under the supervision of Luca Borgogno, senior designer Pininfarina, Giampaolo and Louis, Maserati designer.
