In Russia, a shock advertising

On Italian television for some time are broadcast public service announcements with celebrities such as Gigi Proietti testimonial that invite motorists to take on responsible behavior while driving: do not take alcohol, buckle up, do not maintain high speeds in short, laughing etc ... education, hoping that the message effectively reaches the intended recipients.

In Russia probably thought that to communicate certain messages we want something more and you can not laugh about the dead at the wheel, hence the decision to adopt a kind of shock therapy. And so down the streets of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia's fourth largest city by extension, a sign appeared shocking.

Stuck on the left is a mannequin of human appearance, surrounded by splashes of blood. At the center of the writing, simple but effective, which reads something like "this body could be yours." Remember, even from afar, the video broadcast on Welsh television a couple of years ago, in which the risks were shown ( and consequences) that exist in texting while behind the wheel, this extreme choice is due to the high percentage of Russian motorists who get behind the wheel despite the amount of alcohol in their blood is well above the permitted levels.

In Russia, in fact, each year die in traffic accidents more than 35 000 people are seriously injured while over 115 thousand. I wonder if the disclosure will be able to convince motorists to give up Russian alcohol. If Russia could not work to export the idea, maybe even by us, where in 2010 were 40 thousand drivers stopped with a blood alcohol concentration above the permitted.

You would agree?
