Maserati Sport is unveiled in Geneva GranCarbio

Among the new features of the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show 2011 will also sport the Maserati GranTurismo, GranTurismo revisited in a version of the sport from which it differs for different aesthetic details. The hallmark of this release are the flashy aerodynamic, with new side skirts in body color to which different elements are combined "dark look" that take the place of chrome, as the front grille and the inside of the headlights that give the a racing car character, without altering the spirit typical of the Maserati elegant and stylish.

The engine that will drive the Maserati GranTurismo Sport is the 4.7-liter V8 with 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque, which coupled with the MC-Auto Shift automatic transmission allows a maximum speed of 285 km / h, while consumption fell by 6 % compared to the original version. Are also new brake system, which boasts of drilled and slotted front discs, and suspension settings active Skyhook, which guarantee a better driving pleasure and a more balanced response to the stresses of the road.

The Maserati GranTurismo Sport, which will debut in summer in all markets where the Trident marque is active, will debut a new color for the body: the Triumphal Red, the color replication that is the livery of the Maserati racing of the year 50, including the 250F in which Juan Manuel Fangio won his fifth world title in Formula One in 1957.
