The Mazda MX-5 Special Edition is designed to celebrate the production of the MX-5 numbers 900,000. This special edition will have a limited edition of 750 copies and was presented at the Show in Chicago because it will be sold only on the North American market. The Mazda MX-5 Special Edition has a retractable roof made of plastics and its cover is gray.
Other features are 17-inch alloy wheels, the Xenon headlights, stability control and traction and Keyless Entry, in this premium package. With the package are offered Suspension Bilstein shocks, limited slip differential and sports suspension calibration. The MX-5 Special Edition, offered in the colors and Dolphin Gray Sparkling Black Mica, has a list price of 30'925 dollars, about 22'750 €.
