New Fiat V6 turbodiesel engine

The division of Fiat Powertrain found 50% of the Penske VM Motori Center and as a result, Fiat will have a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine. If the antitrust approve this agreement then the VM will be completely controlled by Fiat Powertrain and General Motors. This diesel engine is called the A630 is equipped with DOHC and four valves per cylinder, common rail fuel injectors that operate at a pressure of 2,000 bar.

According to the VM 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is able to supply a power of 250 hp and maximum torque of 550 Nm, all Euro 5 compliance with green regulations. The 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel is the engine of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Lancia Thema, the SUV of the future of Alfa and Alfa Giulia.
