New Lancia Stratos, already 40 potential customers

After several weeks of silence spoke again of New Lancia Stratos, the sporty Ferrari F430-based entrepreneur Michael Stoschek commissioned Pininfarina to design center. Rumor has it there would be at least 40 potential customers willing to grab a copy of Stratos if it were produced in small series. The entire project has cost New Stratos approximately three million euro, but is convinced that if the Stoschek Startos was produced in small series, may be sold at a price that would be around € 400,000.

To arrive at a possible production, however, should overcome some problems, including finding copies of the Ferrari F430 (or at least the necessary) on which to build the car. But the sport of horse is out of production for over a year, so should provide Maranello engine, chassis and components needed at the request of the manufacturer.

To all this must be added the estimated cost for the conversion, which could be around € 300,000 for each unit produced. Despite this, Stoschek seems quite optimistic about the commercial future of the car, probably because of the goodness of the project and met with great appreciation by the public and professionals.

Among the admirers of the New Stratos fact, there is also the chairman of Ferrari - Luca Cordero di Montezemolo - who has personally tested some time ago the only copy at the Fiorano track, praising the beauty and dynamic qualities.
