Nissan Esflow: sport, but "green"

Respecting the environment does not mean giving up the pleasure of driving. In this philosophy is inspired by the concept of Esflow Nissan, an EV that respects all the canons of their sport: it is characterized by a steeply raked windscreen and winding, a cabin for two compact and low profile tires with wheels, six-spoke but is driven by two electric motors wrapped in an aluminum frame.

Also typically sport high belt line that enabled the integration of the roll bar behind the seats. The design of Esflow is fascinating and even the colors chosen for the body parts are made of composite material, with shades of bluish shooting for the lights: six-spoke wheels have carbon inserts in blue and carbon details embellish the skirts also, the small roof spoiler and the lower end of the rear bumper.

Esflow replacing mirrors with miniature cameras for rear vision. The charging points are hidden, recessed into the air intakes under the headlights. The Esflow, which incorporates the latest technology of Nissan Leaf, has rear-wheel drive works with two electric motors placed above the axle of the queue: they control independently of the wheels left and right to obtain an optimum distribution of torque and therefore greater stability and control.

The torque output is virtually immediate and Esflow reaches 100 km / h acceleration in less than 5 seconds. The motors are powered by lithium-ion batteries rolled, the same used for the Nissan Leaf, but the Esflow are located along the two axles of the wheels toward the center, bringing the mass of the car and the center of rotation.

The battery life is over 240 km on a single charge. Linear and spacious interiors with seats without a casing in leather and perforated suede gold. The fly-by-wire steering and pedals can be adjusted electrically to find the most comfortable position for the driver. Four multi-function LCD display on the dashboard.

The Esflow debut world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
