Nissan: in January, up by 10.4% in Italy

Despite the market dell'autoin Italy in January has pointed out anything but exciting performance, recording rather than a general decrease of 20.7% over the same month of 2010, but there is those who accept the figures for the month last year with some satisfaction. That someone is Nissan, which in January saw 6,293 registered units, an increase of 10.4% compared to twelve months before reaching the highest market share in its history, achieving the 3.83% of total Car sales in Italy.

In a statement, the House of Japan expresses its satisfaction with this positive trend, which is even more valuable in the light of the negative trend in the industry, still struggling in coming to a crisis that has been dragging on for months. The merit of the achievements are to be credited mainly to the excellent feedback of sales of the Nissan Qashqai and Qashqai +2, which is the best selling vehicle in January with 3,131 units, followed by Nissan JUKE (1,972 pieces delivered to customers) and the Nissan Micra , who spent last weekend the first open door to close the budget for the coming month with 858 units sold.

Thanks to the public reception for these models, in addition to the positive sales figures of the Nissan Murano (an increase of 300% compared to January 2010, thanks to the new 2.5-liter turbo diesel), Nissan ranks ninth in the constructors' championship, with good growth prospects for the future.
