Nissan Micra 1.2 S-DIG: eco city car

The latest version of the Micra 1.2 petrol engine with turbo direct injection developed under the strategy of Nissan Pure Drive, it emits levels of emissions among the lowest for petrol engines of 95 g / km CO2 for the version with manual transmission and with the CVT passes to 115 g / km. The new 1.2 engine DIG-S, which stands for Direct Injection Gasoline-Supercharger is a lightweight three-cylinder with supercharger that delivers 98 horsepower, which is comparable to that of a traditional four-cylinder engine of 1.5 liters, and 142 Nm of torque. The unit uses the Miller-cycle gasoline direct injection to raise the compression ratio to 13:1 and thus optimize the efficiency of compression.

The maximum speed is 180 km / h for the manual transmission version. It also comes with the Stop & Start system and recovering energy during braking. Among the devices available as standard or optional, there is also Nissan Connect, the integrated system of information, entertainment and satellite navigation with touch screen.

Among others also the plus Parking Simple Pack for measuring the parking space. Available with five-door body, the Micra offers four different productions: Visia, Comfort, Acenta and Tekna. In addition to the supercharged 1.2 engine with 98 horsepower, is also available aspirated 1.2-liter 80 hp.

The supercharged engine with the new Micra will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March) and will arrive at dealerships this summer.
