Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italy at the Geneva Motor Show

If you think that cars like the Ferraris are usually identified as "the state of the art of automotive technology, one can logically deduce that the creations of the Horse is not likely to any improvement, that there is scope to make a better product already "perfect". Still, do not think so obviously the Novitec Rosso, where he is thought to provide a personal interpretation of Italy Ferrari 458 to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2011.

The German tuner specializing in the prestigious Italian models, has made known their intentions related to the arrival of a new kit for the Berlinetta from Maranello which, while remaining essentially unchanged in the line, has received some interesting techniques to highlight changes decision with the sporting spirit.

It started as a new mapping of the V8's 458 Novitec Rosso Italy, in order to provide an injection of additional power as achieved by the standard version, with an increase estimated at 39 hp, bringing to 609 the CV total power. The couple goes to 569 Nm, 29 Nm earned well over the original version.

New life to which is added to limit the weight of 21 kg, achieved thanks to the exhaust system made of an alloy of nickel and chromium called Inconel. The increased power and superior performance resulting from standard forced to revise the Novitec Rosso aerodynamic components of the 458 Italy, to which were added a few extra appendages made of carbon fiber and designed in a wind tunnel.

Furthermore, also renewed the roof panel and the engine bay, now made of composite material to provide some strength and weight. An eye, but it would be better to say "an ear of respect", was reserved for the sound of the V8, so that the German engineers have equipped the exhaust system of a valve operated by a button on the steering wheel which enables the driver vary the sound produced, thus satisfying even the ears.

The lowered by 35 mm was associated with a hydraulic system that raises the front of the car by 40 mm, so as to ensure success in any of the dangerous slopes without causing contact between the fondoscocca and the ground, while a touch of elegance is given by 21-inch alloy wheels, front and 22-inch rear tires which are mounted on Pirelli P Zero high performance.
