Saab is celebrating its first year of independence with an exclusive edition of the Independence Saab 9-3 Convertible. There will be only 366 copies, one for each day of the first year of independence and another for the start of the second year. Unveiled the first Independence Edition (Color Amber Orange metallic) in a specially created hard day in the assembly plant in Trollhättan Saab.
It is based on the Griffin Aero version. The special model has 18-inch alloy wheels, 5-spoke, matt chrome / black finish, orange-colored decorations on the leather sports seats and the glove compartment, carbon fiber-look leather upholstery on the dashboard, the hand brake, the shift gate and the door handles , a welcome message in the information display, exclusive turbo boost gauge and leather sports steering wheel with orange stitching and fabric floor mats with gray trim.
To drive the choice between the 132 kW / 180 hp 1.9-liter diesel engine is made with two-stage turbocharger, the 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 162 kW / 220 hp, turbocharged, direct injection and variable valve timing and Bio- power version available that runs on gasoline and bioethanol (E85) in any mixing ratio.
When transmissions are six-speed manual or automatic versions.
