Volkswagen Polo Bi Fuel creating a full tank of up to 1400 km

Volkswagen Polo brings the Bi Fuel on the market. It can be an alternative instead run on petrol and LPG. As with the Golf Bi Fuel tank of gas (about 52 liters of usable volume) is also housed in the space saving spare wheel. With gas a range of 680 kilometers is possible. In combination with the gasoline-operation (about 45 liters of fuel) results in a total range of up to 1,400 kilometers.

The new 60 kW / 82 hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder consumes 7.6 liters of LPG per 100 km and emits 123 grams of CO2 per kilometer. This is a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by over eleven percent compared to gasoline operation. With fuel costs currently around 5.40 euros for 100 km, it is also extremely economical.

In petrol mode, which can be selected by switching, the Polo on average 6.0 liters of super and accordingly pushes 139 g CO2 per kilometer. On the level indicator in the instrument cluster, the driver can always see the consumption and the residual range in both modes. The client receives the entire vehicle, including all gas components, the full guarantee.
