Alfa Romeo MiTo: the redesign arrives in 2012

The Centro Stile Fiat in recent months has been working to develop the first redesign of the Alfa Romeo MiTo, the compact hatchback that the House of Arese was launched in June 2008 with a two-door version, with different engines that have been added gradually over time. This is not just a cosmetic make-up: the most important change in fact cover the debut of the 5-door version, with specially designed initially for the U.S.

market, where, however, the market seems to have been postponed indefinitely. Indeed, if now it seems safe landing in the U.S. auto Alfa, you have some doubts on the actual arrival of this model. To meet the standards in force across the Atlantic, the Alfa engineers are thinking of adopting the new frame of the "sister" Fiat Punto, while maintaining the engines and other features of the 2-door version on the market.

From the standpoint of design, the redesign should take over certain solutions MiTo styling seen on the largest Juliet.
