Artega SE Concept: 250 km / h in silence

Artega, small atelier German sports car manufacturer, has presented at the Geneva Motor Show Artega SE (Sport Electric), a prototype electric-powered sports coupe can develop well 380 hp. Aesthetically, the Artega SE Concept faithfully reproduces the shapes of the Artega GT, designed by the designer Henrik Fisker, but it dramatically improves the performance despite the use of two electric motors instead of the 3.5-liter V6 with 300 hp.

The two power units - mounted on the rear axle - can develop well 380 hp, compared with more weight than the version with internal combustion engine of only 125 kg. With these numbers the Artega SE accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds while top speed was 250 km / h, a marked improvement over the GT in the step from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.8 seconds, but it gains something in maximum speed reaching 270 km / h.

The German engineers ensure that the Sport Eletric addition to improving performance, but also allows higher performance handling thanks to the thrust of the two independent electric motors on the rear wheels of the car and the total weight of just 1,430 kg, ideally balanced on both axes.

Artega The SE is powered by a battery pack with lithium-polymer battery from 37 kWh that can be recharged using a fast setting in just 90 minutes with total autonomy and allow a full charge of almost 300 km, provided that be held at bay the superlative performance of the car, otherwise you will not exceed 200 km.

The price of the SE Artega not expected to reach € 150.00, almost double that of gasoline powered version that touches the 83,900 euro.
