BAC Mono: technical details and official photos

The BAC Mono is a car that combines the appearance and performance of a Formula 1 to road cars. Briggs Automotive Company has assigned to a Mono 2.3-liter Cosworth engine producing 285 horsepower paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox with limited slip differential. Combining this engine weighs 520 kg and can carry the BAC Mono to 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds and 160 km / h in 6.7 seconds.

As for other features of Mono, we can say that the suspensions follow the pattern and push road have signed Sachs Racing dampers, while the brakes are AP racing and OZ wheels with Kumho tires. The only discordant note, but it was inevitable given the nature of car is the trunk that can hold a helmet and detachable steering wheel.

The BAC will produce up to 100 Mono year and its cost will be approximately € 92'000, 79'950 pounds.
