For the very first spy photos of BMW i3 Megacity, taken during the winter tests in Scandinavia. The German company wants to sell 30,000 in the first full year of marketing, 2014. Just as the i8, the Megacity would enjoy the "LifeDrive architecture", the platform construction with passenger cell made of CFRP and aluminum sub mounts.
The car will be propelled by a complex supply capable of delivering about 136 hp (0-100 in about 10 seconds and autonomy of 160 km). BMW describes it as the future of mobility premium for the city: what it will justify the price estimated at € 40,000. It will arrive in late 2013.
