The Cajun Porsche will be produced in series and will be in Leipzig. The leadership of the German company had given their consent to mass production of this compact SUV a few months ago, but now came the confirmation from Germany on the plant, which will host its production. The Cajun Porsche, whose name may be different upon arrival in the various markets, will then start up an assembly line next to those that already produce the older sister and Cayenne and Panamera will lead to some expansion to the plant, which it should give work to other 1000 employees.
Built on the same platform of the Audi Q5, the German SUV will aim to provide a valuable Alerna for the range of younger customers and will do so by fully exploiting synergies with the Volkswagen Group which Porsche is a part, even if you stand out from the model Audi Sport, more specifically, for a characterization.
In fact, rumors circulated so far would the presence of engines capable of bringing Cajun to provide more than 400 hp versions to the top of the range and the possibility of having even a hybrid version that supports the supply of diesel and gasoline engines, of course, all coupled to the wheel drive.
