As reported by Autoblog eg, Sergio Marchionne has confirmed the first-series production of the Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato, during the ceremony to begin assembly of the Fiat 500 in Toluca, Mexico. The news was re-launched the website NoticiasAutomotivas, giving some to the production of the Zagato factory in Mexico directly.

It remains to understand why the Italian group has decided to present the car with the Fiat brand and not with the Abarth, the same press conference after the concept was presented as the heir spritiuale Scorpion signed Zagato built cars in the '60s. The car on show at the Swiss show, however, had the air of a model really ready for production, using inter alia the bumper of the 500 U.S.

and offers a roomy 2 +2 that certainly does not bother the fans decided to put this small house in sports. The prototype, among other things, features the brand new version in TwinAir twin 105 hp, but it is possible that the production model will also offer the 1.4 Turbo petrol.
