The Fiat 500 makes its debut in dealerships USA

Someone called him the new Italian Renaissance. Others simply look at the return of Fiat in the Unitidopo 27 years of absence as an event that brings the Italian brand in America. The first 500 are in fact arrive in 4 dealers in Massachusetts (and soon will be also in the remaining 126 of the entire confederation), ready to be commercialized on a large scale in North America, after being snapped up on the Internet both in the U.S.

in Canada, where 500 specimens were pre-purchased in a few hours. The first buyers of the Fiat dealer in a suburb north of Boston were two Americans of Italian descent (her husband actually was born in Turin), just to feel at home who also has the beautiful country in the heart. The Lingotto hopes to get even here the success elsewhere with the 500, that within four years has been marketed in 80 countries in half a million copies.

The U.S. version is assembled in Toluca plant in Mexico with features tailored to the laws (and taste) of North America. The base price of $ 16,000 should help sales of this little "town" of 101 hp, which at year end will be offered in a convertible version.
