MotorTrend brought out the new Ford Mustang Boss 302 on the track at Laguna Seca. This version of "specialist" of the Mustang marked a time of 1 minute 40 seconds, enough to leave behind a BMW M3 by 2 seconds, time aligning the Audi R8 V8, SLS Mercedes AMG, Corvette Z06 and Nissan GT-R. The Mustang Boss 302 is equipped with the 5.0 V8 from 445 hp and 515 Nm of torque with close-ratio manual transmission, limited slip differential, adjustable trim and brakes plus.
Interior lightened, reinforced chassis and semi-slick tires complete the official process, which transforms the standard Mustang GT into a "weapon" very sharp at a very attractive: American fans can get in a garage from about 302 Boss U.S. $ 41,000 (less than 30,000 Euro at current exchange rates), as demonstrated by the model of the online configurator.
