In September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show could be presented the new Maserati Quattroporte, the large size sedan segment E. The engine should be a 4.7-liter V8, improved compared to the current, which will be supported by other engines. Maserati's new sedan is expected to cost something more and will have to face the market with the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series, while with regard to its marketing we have to wait at least the end of 2012.
The project name of this Maserati Quattroporte M157 is, after all the previous model was called M156. But the Maserati to increase its sales will not be limited solely to the novelty of the sedan, it also will debut in the biennium 2012-2013 Maserati SUV, which will have many features common to the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
