A week after a recurrence of 150 years dedicated to the anniversary of the Unification of Italy, published the first pictures of the Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore, and a limited edition special version dedicated to the important commemorative event. The very President of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, about the Tricolore said: "To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy it seemed right to propose a flag livery for our most successful model." Aesthetically, the Gallardo is characterized by Tricolore pearl white embellished with a longitudinal adhesive strip that shows the colors of the Italian flag.
The adhesive strip runs laterally along the body of the car, while the passenger why the tricolor is also taken from the driver's seat, leather-wrapped sport. It is unclear what mechanism will equip the new model of the Bull. The most insistent voices speak of the scheme used by the most powerful Gallardo, or the 5.2-liter V10 with 570 hp also mounted from the Gallardo Superleggera, and the drive should be the classic Lamborghini coupled to full-automatic sequential 6-speed E-Gear.
Obviously we can not exclude the possibility of finding under the Tricolour scheme of another limited version of the Gallardo, the Gallardo or 550-2 Valentino Balboni. This version uses the 5.2-liter V10 detuned to 550 hp coupled to the single rear-wheel drive and capable of transforming the sports car in Sant'Agata Bolognese exciting, but at the same time not easy to control.
The novel model will be formally unveiled in March 16, the day before the national holiday dedicated to the Italian feast. The presentations will take place during the opening of "Future Station. This refers Italy", an exhibition to be held in Turin in Major Repair Shops. The event is part of the series of "Experience Italy 150", organized under the patronage of the President of the Republic to celebrate 150 years of Italian unity.
