The second sedan-coupe Mercedes home, the BLS, which will complement the CLS, it will probably be launched in 2014. The BLS has set itself the ambitious goal of increasing sales of the brand, and expand the supply andandone Mercedes in a specific market segment. Little is known yet of the new Mercedes BLS, as will debut later in time, it is probable that the new BLS can draw on the F 800 Style, the concept car shown at Geneva Motor Show 2010, regarding the design.
The engines could include combinations arising from agreements with Renault-Nissan, the new Mercedes BLS should also be front-wheel drive. The engines could be: three petrol, including a 1.4, a 1.8 and a 2.0 turbo, while the diesel should be two, probably a 1.6 and 2.1, both quadricilindrici, Mercedes BLS should also use a dual-clutch gearbox with gear ratios seven-speed transmission.
It should also be a hybrid version, since the platform was designed from the outset to accommodate this type of engine emissions of CO2 contained in that Mercedes also has to deal with the need to reduce consumption by a side of caring for the environment.
