Michelin Pilot Sport Super: chosen by Ferrari for its FF

Ferrari, after a series of previous collaborations already winning, Michelin has confirmed to equip its new FF, the first Ferrari-wheel drive and it does so by opting for the Pilot Super Sport, the fastest production tire on the world circuit. The new Michelin Pilot Sport Super contributes to enhance the pleasure of driving style while keeping it under conditions of maximum security in all weather conditions, requirements proved to be fundamental in the development of Ferrari FF.

Super Michelin Pilot Sport, Michelin is the result of background experience in racing, which have allowed Michelin constant technological progress, allowing the French tire continuously for thirteen times to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Michelin has made use of three different technologies to implement the Pilot Super Sport, (the great tire mileage with excellent braking performance), two of which used the tires for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, namely: the Twaron ® belt, the tread Bi-compound and Variable Contact Patch 2.02.

Front and rear tires are different sizes 245/35 ZR 20 front and 295/45 ZR 20 rear. After the 599 GTO (the fastest Ferrari road built so far), will be the new FF wheel drive to seize the baton of the knowledge and technology, Michelin, further proof of the partnership between the two marks in the sign of technology and performance .
