Nissan: 400 million yen to aid Japan after earthquake

Japan after the tsunami of 11 March is trying in every way to react and deal with a situation that is to say the least serious. Even the automotive industry is trying to deal with the problem, partly because they often are the most important part of the economy of Japan. As car production was blocked, car manufacturers are trying to make themselves available to lend a hand in rescue operations.

An example of this is offered by Nissan, which has provided funding to address the different situation: 30 million yen for the Japan NGO Platform and 400 million yen in aid, amounting to EUR 3.5 million. Other exemplary actions of the House were those of Nissan devote more than 50 Nissan vehicles in favor of rescue teams and reduce electricity consumption in buildings business.
