The Ice Speed Record can be defined as "special version" for its limited validity, compromised even after a fortnight. The Finnish rider Janne Laitinen has indeed set a new speed record on ice, driving a special Audi RS6 to 331.610 km / h blowing it the previous record in Bentley, slower than even a kilometer per hour (330.695 km / h).
The German sedan has used tires 255/35 R20 Hakkapeliitta 7 to the extent provided by Nokian, organizer of the 14 km long test track located near the Gulf of Bothnia, in Oulu (Finland).
