During the press presentation of the Opel Corsa, 2011, the German company confirmed that the car will undergo further changes, with continuous innovations in the coming months. Beyond additional special equipment and a greater spread of StartStop system, already available on the Corsa Ecoflex, our thoughts immediately went to the spy photos of October 2010, when the Nurburgring was repeatedly spotted a Corsa OPC further evolved .
This OPC "dopata" had not had no news and the launch of the model year 2010 seemed to have put aside all hope of seeing this model in the lists. We again requested information about future changes to the OPC leaders of the German who not only have denied the report, but have also made it clear that this model is still in the plans and could make his debut, at least as a prototype by 2011, probably at the show Frankfurt.
No forward-technical content, although it is easy to predict a higher power above 200 hp share and adoption of new to brake system components and trim, perhaps accompanied by a graphic design and aerodynamics further incattivita. Considering the spirit of the OPC range, the possibility of a future Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition (name not confirmed) could also pave the way for even more powerful and aggressive versions of other models, such as the Astra GTC and the future Insignia.
