Pescara car blocking traffic, the city is smog emergency

In recent days the city of Pescara has reached worrying levels of air pollution and therefore necessary to take measures to find a solution to the smog. Among the alternatives the city authorities are considering the possibility of implementing in an upcoming weekend to block traffic to lower the threshold for PM.

Pescara could then opt for the decision other Italian cities have already taken in the previous weeks, just think of Milan, Turin and Naples. The blockade of the cars in view of sustainable mobility is a real need, because the law sets a maximum limit of 35 days exceeding the limits of pollution in a year.

In the coming days we should know something more concrete and possible dates for a lock of some or all.
