New official images for the Phoenix Concept Saab and the 9-5 SportCombi. At the Geneva show also presented the Scandinavian home IQon, new management system of multimedia functions. Built on the basis of the next generation of 9-3, the Phoenix Concept introduces the stylistic traits of the 'Aeromotional design, "born from the pencil and Jason Catriota, giving the Phoenix a drag coefficient of 0.25.

The top-hinged doors provide easy access cockpit configured as a 2 +2. The car is powered by a hybrid resulting from the connection between a 4 cylinder 1.6 turbo 200 bhp (Lead Mini) with a 34 hp electric motor for the rear wheels. The system is called eXWD it will be the basis for the Saab hybrid to come.

In this configuration, it guarantees an average consumption of 5 liters per 100 km with emissions limited to 119g/km. Saab has lifted the veil to the new 9-5 SportCombi: the Swedish station wagon is very pleasant thanks to a proportionate tail and an elegant design of the rear window and not discounted.

A worthy rival to the German competitors. The range of engines is shared with the sedan. Unfortunately, the house did not report data on the carrying capacity. In Geneva debuted also IQon, new entertainment system that will soon take all the cars in the range. The system, which we propose a video and some shots of the screens seems to follow closely the graphical interface of Apple products known.

Use the Google Android operating system and has varied applications (some pay up .... IQon store) accessible from its 8-inch touch-screen.
