The watchword for the designers who set to work to make the Renault R-Space Concept, presented these days in Geneva, was to imagine what must have been a car for the family, simple but emotional . The result is a compact MPV, 4.25 meters long, fluid forms and the rugged, sporty look. This study, as always, the style of the future MPV brand by offering a dynamic form sharp pointed windows, a large windscreen and sunroof, with volumes well studied.

According to many, this concept should be an anticipation of the fourth generation of Scénic. Futuristic interiors inspired by the concept DeZir, designed with the driver's seat as the cockpit of a plane and back for children, such as a playful space that can be modulated at will thanks to a bench composed of cubes.

R-Space Concept TCe Energy adopts the engine with direct injection, which prefigures the range of engines that will be introduced in the House from 2012: a 900 cc three-cylinder Nissan made, coupled with a dual-clutch automatic transmission EDC: has performance equivalent to a 1.6 liter engine with an output of 110 hp and a torque of 160 Nm CO2 emissions are 95 g per km with consumption of 3.7 litres/100 km.

To optimize fuel consumption and emissions is the system DrivingEco2: pressing the Eco system automatically adjusts the engine response depending on several factors, such as outside temperature, load, use of air conditioning or heating, informing the driver on the best course of keep driving.

Vision System also allows the device through a front camera, suggesting appropriate eco-driving retrieving information on the external environment.
