Saab 9-5 SportCombi

Saab has unveiled at the Geneva version of the 9-5 family, of which the Swedish company expected to represent about 50% of sales of the model. Three petrol engines and two diesel, the same as in the sedan, complete the offer. Saab has chosen the Geneva Motor Show as the backdrop for the presentation of the 9-5 SportCombi wagon version of the sedan 9-5.

Its length is the largest segment, up from just over 5 meters and measuring the sedan version. This family version could represent up to 50% of sales of 9-5, especially in countries like Sweden and Germany, as calculated by the heads of the mark. However, despite its impressive external dimensions, carrying capacity, even though good, is not dazzling.

Its trunk has a capacity of 527 liters, totaling up to 1,600 by folding down the rear row of seats. In the mechanical changes nothing about the sedan. It has three petrol engines, 1.6-liter turbocharged 180 hp, 2-liter turbocharged 220 horsepower and the jewel in the crown, the 2.8-liter V6 300 hp.

As for the Diesel, Saab 9-5 SportCombi has two options, the 2-liter TiD 160 hp and the 2-liter 190 hp TTiD. With each and every one of the options may be equipped mechanical automatic transmission. From this month of March can be ordered the first units of this model, but not until next fall when it reaches the market.
