Sword Codatronca Monza: a roadster to amaze

Four years ago, the field of extreme supercar was greeted with some curiosity the arrival of Codatronca, stylistic experiment carried out by the Sword baby sports car company founded by Ercole Spada for Zagato established designer who was responsible for the style of the Alfa TZ TZ2, and Aston Martin DB4Z.

In 2007, one might say, the Sword Codatronca was a sort of Ferrari FFante its time. Compared to the last GT Horse had no traction on all wheels, but its design had a profile very "edgy" and the central 7-liter engine and 600 hp. These days, the Sword Sports Cars announced the development of an evolution of Codatronca in key roadster, which will be presented to the Top Marques Monaco, the kermessededicata to the most exclusive new concept in luxury in the GT program in Monaco from 14 to April 17.

The concept, from the evocative name - Monza will be called - was created, as the name suggests, with the aim of developing a car by an "extreme" in order to be used in the track day. In practice, a response to the Italian Radical SR4, but compared to this one promises to be very powerful and exclusive design.

So far, the signs are merely a foretaste of style. Not even sure if the sword has thought of a production plan (of course in ultra limited series), although the Sword Sports Cars was founded - at the end of 2006 - with the aim of achieving the supercar for nearly half a million €, characterized by high power and a picture of all staff.

However, we can imagine that the heart of the Monza will be of U.S. origin. Maybe a nice big block V8, 650 hp, borrowed (why not?) From the Corvette Z06: A little 'as had happened in 2007 with the Codatronca.
