Tata has developed a concept based on the Nano has called Pixel and perhaps launch a proposal for a future version of the microcar intended for European motorists. As each pixel shows the concept and design technical solutions that could draw the new model. The prototype presented in Geneva, as an egg white, has doors that open scissors, turning upwards, rounded lines and a bubble cockpit that can accommodate four people despite a length of just over three meters.
Another feature is the four-wheel steering system called Zero Turn that allows a turning radius of 2.6 meters, or able to turn the pixels on itself for easier parking. No electric motor this time, but a three-cylinder 1.2-liter turbodiesel placed in the back with IVT Transmission (Infinitely Variable Transmission) with continuous variable, which consumes an average of 3.4 liters per km with CO2 emissions of 89 g / km.
The tires are low rolling resistance and there is also the Start & Stop system and the My Tata Connect that control the functions of the car via smartphone.
