ACE: car batteries cause most car breakdowns

More than two thirds of all car breakdowns (72 percent) go to the account-functioning batteries, broken motors, electronics susceptible to interference and defective landing gear. This shows the new "hit list car breakdowns 2010", which has published the Auto Club Europa (ACE). Around one in three car accident (32.5%) is caused by a juice and then feeble electricity storage.

Compared to the previous year, the injury rate fell by two percent. The ACE complains when it comes to the renewal of a weak battery, many car owners are spending more because of convenience or are still quite hesitant. The Council to make a battery replacement due time will, like displaced.

Another problem, according to the ACE in the high number of power feeders in the car manufacturer in the weak interpretation of the battery storage capacity. Motorists would strain the battery by a frequently repeated activation of the rear window and seat heating bad. Slightly decreased the ACE statistics indicate that the car broke down due to error in the fuel supply and the ignition system.

Also around the drive and the locking of cars in 2010, there have been a little less roadside assistance operations. Slightly more defects on the other hand had to determine the ACE-helper on alternators and starters. The ACE has a year around 100 000 operations.
