Bristol: sold to Kamkorp Autokraft group Frazer-Nash

The car maker Bristol, placed into administration a few months ago, was bought by Kamkorp Autokraft Limited, which is part of the Frazer-Nash Group. The transaction brings together two historic brands in virtually: Frazer-Nash had in fact contributed to the very existence of Bristol in the second post-war and the current company now employs research and technology in many fields.

In 2009, Frazer-Nash appeared at the Geneva Motor Show Namir, a hybrid concept car designed by Giugiaro, if this was the direction taken for the future of Bristol, the very traditional English brand of customers they would really make a huge leap in terms of design and technology. The fact Namir is equipped with a rotary engine to 800cc and four electric motors, for a total of 370Cv, enough to touch 300 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.5 seconds, with fuel consumption in 'order of 39 km / l and emissions of just 60 g / km, with a range close to 2000 km with 50 liters tank.
